Our philosophy is to treat all our patients as individuals, making time to discuss their concerns in detail, ensuring that they can be well-informed about their health at all times.

We are all NHS doctors and believe in NHS care, however we are aware that in our roles in the NHS, we are constrained by budgets and policies, which mean that we can’t always give our patients the time that they deserve.

Our mission is to offer you outstanding patient care and a responsive, professional service, enabling you to make time for your health.

Southdowns Private Healthcare offers you an alternative health service which can be used to supplement the service which you receive from the NHS.

Dr Abu Chinwala BM MRCGP

I am a partner at a large Hampshire NHS Practice having attended Southampton University and trained as a junior doctor in Cheltenham in oncology and internal medicine. I am a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Dr Nick Woodruff MBBS MRCGP

I joined Emsworth surgery as a partner in 2004 having trained at the Royal London hospital. I practice full time as an NHS GP and have an special interest in musculoskeletal medicine and headaches.

Dr Fiona Mitford-Slade BM MRCGP DFFP

I qualified from Southampton university in 1995, my specialist interests include sexual health, contraception, fertility issues and pre and post natal care.
