Allergy Testing

Our private GPs offer tests for a wide range of allergies from our consulting rooms in both Hampshire and Sussex. Common symptoms that may be associated with food intolerances, allergies and sensitivities are:

Excessive tiredness
Irritable Bowl Syndrome
Skin problems such as acne and eczema
Headaches
Recurrent infections

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms we can test for sensitivities to a wide variety of substances which in turn allows us to identify and treat a wide range of allergies and sensitivities.

Our tests are grouped into three main categories:

Comprehensive Food Allergy Profile

We can test, by simple blood test, for a wide range of food allergies, such as nuts, wheat, egg and milk. Results are available after 2 days.

Rhinitis Provoking Profile

Rhinitis symptoms of an itchy nose, eyes ear and or throat is often described as hay fever. Hay fever can ruin the enjoyment of the early summer months for sufferers, but with our test we can identify the allergens individual to you and treat them specifically. Allergies to grass pollen and cat dander for example can be specifically treated.

Eczema Provoking Profile

This tests for both commonly found environmental allergens such as dust and also common food allergies such as wheat, dairy and citrus.
